Haha. I have also seen much of the above. Arsenal bought Vela for £30m (first season) on mine. I've also seen Madrid buy Busquets, too. The match engine is just as bizarre as last year, so many goals from the half way line and back passes from the opposition's penalty area!

I believe the engine is fine, it's just the surface display (the 2d screen) that is a bit off.

I swear Arsenal always buy Vela. Like last year, there were regular signings that would happen every time - Vermaelen to Barça/Real, Kaboul, Sandro, Walker, to Barça/Real, Dedé to Chelsea etc. etc.

That's because their AI managers decide which position the club needs improvement on according to their favourite formation. Then normally they tend to buy the same players, as the database is always the same :P

I did think that. Though Barça last year would buy half decent strikers every time who weren't even good and were almost always different - once I saw them buying Defoe, another time Lewandowski, another Alvaro Morata. :P

It can be annoying though when you want a good player and have to compete with huge clubs to get him with way more financial power.

I signed a 31 yo negredo, still amazing..then he wants to be a DCM..wtf..now all his stats are crap..

He wants to be a DCM? I have not seen that before, what happens?

Clearly an excellent career move for Busquets...

It happens sometimes when a player near retirement. The player will asked to be retrained to another position (defensive, usually) so that they can prolong their careers.

For me it's 4 reasons:

• He's the only manager I can think of with more charisma than Mourinho

• He is a genuinely nice guy who's been thro a lot

• England are going nowhere anyway so it's not like he can mess anything up

• I love the Bristol accent, where's Roy's leads people to cruelly call me Hodgson. I know it's only a joke but I bloody hate it
