I hope you all had a happy holidays and are eager for this exciting career to continue! The delay was longer than i hoped as things kept getting in the way but now i'm here and ready to show you season four of our journey! Hopefully Prize won't wait too long in showing season five

This turned out to be a very busy window as i trimmed the squad while adding attacking quality to the side!

Quintero is here! Some massive attacking signings which should really help our Brazilian's to step it up a notch! The free transfers were arranged by Prize 

Dream On

I called a meeting with Prize and we discussed this at length, in the end we both decided he was worth keeping as we knew he suited our squad. Nothing worse in this type of challenge than having that solid assister and being unable to replace him. 

 

Season Review

Crashing out of the Champions League had a silver lining as we claimed the Europa League title! A very solid season indeed!

Pele & Rivaldo Rise Again

Season Five

Welcome back too season five update of Pele & Rivaldo Rise Again! Season four ended with a great achievement by Ashez as he claimed the first European silverware against European rivals Juventus! It also saw a new episode in the rivalry between Team Rivaldo and Pele in which both managers where burning each other like hell. Will this influence the careers of the lads or can Ashez and myself combine our strengths and claim further glory?

Although less busy then last season we had some fairly big names arriving at the club with Talisca being the biggest. Mid December I called a crisis meeting with Ashez as Talisca was about to outshine Pele & Rivaldo. In our wisdom we decided that half a season at Ajax was enough for Talisca and shipped him off and brought in Gaudino in as his replacement. (damn bug doesn’t show the Talisca transfer)

Wow! After great succes in the EL by Ashez, we claim the Super cup against Real Madrid. Seriously happy with this result!

Zero loses! And winning by a big margin!

It took us 85 minutes to find the goal, and this should have been way easier but Pele and Praet sealed the deal!

Our experiments with bringing quality attacking midfielders into the side like Quintero and Talisca failed massively but we knew we needed something more to bring these two strikers to life. After a chat with Prize i decided that it could be worth going all out for two fullbacks who could make a difference in the side as we were using a narrow formation. 

I had a look in game and after crippling the club financially i pulled off two deals which blew my mind!

 The New Left Back

He was unhappy and transfer listed so i made my move and boy what a signing! Gaya should bring a new life to our formation with his attacking displays down the left!

Damn Brazilian glitch! Anyway Fekir arrived in January and you'll see why shortly while Mcgee was a back up keeper Prize had lined up. 

The Departures

With the new wingbacks coming in i was forced to recoup some money while getting some wages back into the club, i have to say i was sad to see these two leave but they were two of our highest earners i knew we could afford to offload. 

All in all an exciting season transferwise!

A shockingly bad season! 

The injury was a bad one and he took a while to recover from it, thankfully it came at a good time due to the break in fixtures meaning he didn't miss many games (Rivaldo also missed a month though). On the first of january Pele had 15 so he only scored 5 goals in the second half of the season, Rivaldo didn't fair much better though without his partner as he had 26 in january and he only managed 11 goals in the second half of the season. 16 goals between two players in half a season of football, things are starting to look bleak!
