A 5-3-2 setup, defensive mentality (got to have very good defenders) with defensive wingers who have defensive duties but on the counter are fast so defensivly capable with high pace that is key here plus high dribbeling and crossing to feed the forwards. One ball winning midfielder to presure and chase down from midfield on one CM to do both DEF work as well as gearing ATK and one AP to bridge rapidly towards the striking duo. One poacher to prowl around the defensive line ready to break it any time and a Trequartista for when the oponent is mauling away at a very sturdy defense the Tre looks for and positions himself in space to recieve when the oponents attack breaks down and the counter begins.

Hope that was helpfull!

I dont really agree with Dec although he is right that in the end stuff always boils down to the player's abilities.

A lower level team is more likely to get aproached offensivly so taking advantage of that a counter tactic is favored. Tune your team to counter.

Thought about it a second more... my suggested tactic is based on a lower level team playing higher level opponents. I asume you want your team to get promoted and so you'll be up against a lot of stronger teams than yourself (initially). But if you are content to stay were you are with teams that are all of about the same level you can use whatever tactic you like, play like Barcelona and make Giuseppe Sole look like Neymar.

How do you disagree as in general you could recommend a tactic with 3 at the back yet if they have strong wing backs then there isn't much point playing that. Same with 2 strikers if only 1 is good. The tactic has to match the players else it isn't the best use.

Going more granular you could have a great, strong striker and could recommend an advanced forward which isn't the best use of him. At all.

Tactics regardless of level must be fit to that squad else you will waste a lot of money (even more so in lower leagues) or not get the best out of them.

Very true what you are saying tactics should match the players or the other way around (buying players especially for the tactics you want to play) never disagreed on that. Just saying a counter style of tactic would be beneficial for lower lvl teams playing stronger ones as explained above.

I agree with that, there are things that are better for levels (or worse dependent what you look at). However my point was without knowing his ideal XI then we can no way offer him a formation as there's no such thing as a "Lower League Tactic" that fits all.

Tactics for Lower League isn't a thing. Like Big Teams it depends on the players you have at your disposal.

We cannot suggest you the best tactics unless you show us your team.

There are some rule of thumbs but to have a Lower League tactic is not going to happen. Like a big team tactic doesn't exist. Look at that one given above. It would be great if you had a BPD but that is rare lower down, also if you have no wingers. Which if you do would be wasted in the tactics.

That looks pretty good though as your wing backs won't be the most fit I would put one of the wingers with the best crossing as a Winger. Also I would be tempted to not have two creative players next to each other so the least creativity down to a CM. Maybe mixed passing too as you won't play on the best pitches to be able to play on the ground all the day. If you are playing defensive too you will want to put counter attacking on.

This should see an increase in results and less wasted shots.

Thanks i will give it a try .. and will see what gonna happen ..

i think mixed passes will be great .. and having one CM with AP would be a good combination

Thank you again

Generally for lower league I like to use simple formations and roles, like FB, BWM, CM, P, W etc. This is because most lower league players aren't suitable for more specialist roles and formations. But @Dec is right, there is no tactic that guarantees success in the lower leagues, it depends on your players.

Yeah, it will be a lot more rewarding and fun in the long run if you are able to make your own successful tactic than if you just copy one from here.
