Tactics Player Position Status Affect!

I am starting a new game playing in a lower league, I play with RW and LW normally but finding it difficult to find players who can play those roles, however I have 2 x AM who have the darker green option for those wide positions, so should it be ok to use those players....   basically what is the affect of playing someone who is green but not fully trained in the position I want them to play in?

They will be perfectly capable to play dark green positions but when they are bright green they will have that extra push.

basicly they perform a bit better being bright green.

Obviously over time it's nice to build a squad that suits your tactic near perfectly, but so long as they have suitable stats, they will perform well enough in those positions.
