Hi guys, I just tried simple but quite effective tactic which surprisingly works well for my Fiorentina team.

My humble roster can beat much superior Juve and Napoli

I actually played a few test games with Fiorentina as well for my future Batistuta experience. Different setup 3-4-1-2 but worked reasonably well. I like the 'pressing' and 'committed tackling' combo (if you got the players for it) quite effective.

I particularly like the forwards in this squad.

I'm using the same formation, the 4222, but different roles. Has there been no game where you get destroyed? 2 WB and a BPD seems way too risky.

A tactic similar to this worked wonders with me on 16. Just now I've been trying to find a good 4-3-3 tactic for 17 but that's proving quite hard, may go back to this at some point.

OP

@Yomart23 : Hey !
Nice tactic there but your two IF are not going to both cut inside.
Only one will. Can you try to check that and tell me ?
There was a quite nice post on IF you should read if you haven't yet. It's quite impressive ^^

IFs should always cut inside now.

@BatiGoal Thanks for the suggestion, since for the second season I got Romagnoli and developed Diks so I can use the commited tackling more effectively.

@Meow So far I never lost with more than 2 goals margin. I need to see the effect of using CD or FB

@Yomart23 have you been testing more, it seems to work pretty well for a bigger side atleast :) thanks!

@Toji As @Jack Joyce both IFs always cut inside, as the result my leading goalscorers in my team are both IFs

How do you tell if you have got the players for it?

Pressing drains stamina and committed tackling requires high tackling attribute to minimize the bookings (yellow/red cards) so make sure these are at least green (15+).
