Season 5

So another season and no real changes to tactics or the French Managers Job (which keeps going V. Insecure but nothing ever happens)

So Let's get going 

Transfers

Just a few Ins and Outs this season

Just the two signings this year Dendoncker from Sampdoria as a good CD/DM option and Sule from Bayern as a good backup CD

Only Smalling going out for Money this season after moaning all season about play time, then just free/loan players out

League

After a steller season last year breaking the 110 goal mark can we get a better performance this year

 

Pretty much the same season 117 goals 98 points, Chelsea pushed us hard this season but we left all others in the dust

Cups

Another year and plenty more chances for silverwear

We start the season by reclaiming the Community Shield over Man City

Another Euro Supercup for the trophy cabinet thanks to a 3-1 win over Arsenal

We beat another of Brazils teams to claim the World Club Championship

We beat Arsenal for the second time this year in a cup final to claim the EFL Cup

Niang and Martial combine to give us a huge win and beat Everton in a cup final for the fifth straight year

No squad issues this year but still a tight game against Bayern but we prevail thanks to a Hummels OG and Niang scoring late on

So Every single cup won this year again and the team is flying

Dembele once again claims the WPOTY with Martial as runner up

Martial and Niang combine for 1st and 2nd place in the EPL POTY

Well they couldn't stay injury free to start with

Another injury hit season but I had confidence that they could rally

So Niang has now completed the first 26 minutes and Martial has only five minutes left so we're doing very well

Storming season with some very big wins!

Both players are in their prime now so roll on the next 4 seasons. These are the years where its make or break.

Season 6

After a solid 99 goal season let's hope the boys can improve this year and start showing me what their made of 

Transfers

Another season and a bit more shopping

I needed some depth this year and sent my scouts out to hunt some bargains, grabbed Rodriguez (ST) Arellano (CM) and Palmieri (LB) and then the big signing was Doria for £40M to give my defence another strong option in case of injuries 

All free agents out this year (mostly the reserves I had to sign last season to compete in the Champions Cup)

League

Looking to make it 6 from 6 EPL titles

Another great season going undefeated in the league and breaking the 100 goal and point mark and conceding only 18 goals is a great achievement 

Cups

Hoping for another great season in the cups this year

We start well enough with a 3-0 win over Chelsea to claim the Community Shield 

A very tight game against Real Madrid saw us edge them out to claim the Euro Supercup

We stroll to Victory to once again claim the World Club championship

We smash them in the stats but only manage to score 2 but it's enough to clinch another EFL Cup

Now the bad news

A terrible display saw us loose out on penalties to Blackburn to miss out on the FA Cup

And we loose out on the Champions Cup after the bug sends most of my squad on International duties (even though when you look at the schedules none of the National teams play the same day as the cup final so can SI sort it out)

Still Held them to a 0-1 loss

Season 6 (Again)

After the unfortunate loss of my save I have had to re-do season six (and it didn't go as well)

Transfers

This year was mostly about squad depth and bringing in players to fill roles if need be, all players signed were ones recommended by my scouts)

So no real stars here just some decent looking backups (except Kempf who was injured roughly 75% of the season)

Klassen going out as he was not being used and he brought in a tidy sum and Jorge Rodriguez lasted half a season after moaning about play time, the rest were again unwanted players

League

Another storming league campaign 

Winning all but 3 games and breaking the 100 point mark once again

Cups

A Very mixed year for silverware this year

Started strong with a good win over Chelsea to claim the Community Shield 

A close game saw us edge out Real Madrid in the Euro Supercup 

A big win over SPO (thanks in no small part to THREE own goals) and we are crowned World Club Champions once again

We loose out to Arsenal in the EFL Cup quarter finals 

And miss out on the FA Cup against Liverpool in the Final

But we do keep our Championship Trophy beating Chelsea once again

Both players lost 3 months each plus the odd games due to fatigue but how did they do

Niang really stepped it up this year netting over 50 goals for the season 

Martial however seemed to loose some mojo this year netting less than 40

Nice to see Niang stepping up to the plate with over 50 goals and he made some decent inroads in the GaM. 

I hate to say it but you're starting to slip behind in the Double Trouble. A couple of bumper seasons (120) is needed to get you back on track.

The Gam is coming along nicely I agree, I just wish I could keep them both fit (not sure if there is a fitness bug) but it's starting to get really irritating

Season 7

Sorry it's taken so long guys but here we are with season 7

Transfers

A bit of wheeling and dealing early on to help improve some areas 

Fabianho and Riedewald were brought in to help out the defence (although both ended up playing DM positions most of the season) and Horn was bought as a backup GK, Brooks and Messi were good free signings who played well when asked

All unhappy players leaving all wanted more game time that I wasn't willing to give them

League

Aiming to claim our seventh straight league title (and boy we did it in style)

Finishing undefeated grabbing 106 in both goals and points but my GK and defence impressed this year conceding only 11 goals in the league (19 less than our next nearest competition)

Cups

Aiming to add more silverwear to the trophy case

We didn't get off to the best start loosing out to Liverpool in the Community Shield

We get our heads back in the game with a very good win in the Euro Supercup

Both my guys score in the Club World Championship final in a decent win

We knock the wind out of the Newcastle sails claiming another 3-0 victory to claim the EFL Cup

Another tie game in a cup final but the FA Cup final but this time the penalty shoot out goes our way

And we end the season claiming another European Crown beating Bayern 3-1 in the final

Not much this year (not sure what you have to do to claim the MOTY award, but I clearly didn't do enough lol)

Very nice season Taff. When I first saw the great defensive display I thought the goals would be down but 106 for your guys is a good return. 

7 minutes left in the GaM sees you very close indeed. Another 2 or 3 minutes this season and it's as good as yours.

Cheers Billy, just annoying Martial scored the 86th minute four times last season and Niang only claiming the one new minute but I'm still far away enough from the 1200 that I should be good for the GaM

Season 8

And were back after a short Christmas break

So straight to it and after the boys finally got their 100+ goal season lets hope they can keep it up this year

Transfers

All my transfers this year were done in the January window, brought in Malcom and Ocampos to help out the wide areas (you'll see why in the sales) and Kranevitter as a backup striker

Depay wanted a "New Challenge" so Inter swooped in and took him off my hands and Brooks wanted more play time but he was only ever a backup, the rest were free agents out the door, I was sad to see Meassi go but he just didn't have it in him anymore

League

Another straight forward league display 

Undefeated yet again and only 10 goals conceded in the whole campaign, a great defensive performance 

Cups

On to the cup competitions

We start off with a solid win over Chelsea to claim the Community Sheild

Both my stars score to clinch the Euro Supercup over Lazio

A Martial double helps us clinch yet another World Club Championship

Another solid win and we beat Chelsea once again to clinch the EFL Cup

Another Martial double helps us fend off Liverpool to claim the FA Cup

And we end the year winning all the trophies in a good battle against Dortmund to claim the European Champions cup

This caused him to have a slow start to the season, but he picked it up well in the second half
