Anyways! I have started a career with Napoli, in accordance with @danovic78's challenge:

• Win at least 1 Serie A 'Top Scorer' award (0/1)

And all of this has to take place within the timeline of 7 seasons.

Tbh I actually have never heard of him, but wow: at that age and with those stats, I reckon I might be able to wrap this up within 2 or 3 seasons!

Season 1

(The not so good season...)

So I just finished the first season and I have one thing to say: it was terrible.

Horrible league record, horrible Champions League run, a fairly good cup run, and (sadly) low scoring. 

So how did our player do? Well thankfully he was the best player on the team but unfortunately the 'best player' tag doesn't have much to live up to in this team. Anyways, Ill let the stats do the rest of the talking.

  TIM Cup:

We won the TIM Cup (Italian Cup) and that was pretty much it.

I would have been really excited had we not been playing like that for nearly every game in the second half of the season -.-

 

But all-in-all, it was a good cup run. Hope to retain this one next season.

  Serie A:

  The Serie A was just terrible (even though we had some great players). I guess we were creating many chances, but unfortunately, not capitalizing on any of them. I tweaked my tactic around constantly, but this seemed not to work: we would start off winning by large amounts (3-0, 4-0 etc against both big and small teams alike) but then the tactic would suddenly become stale. It was really frustrating at times but the game be like that I guess. Romero would have nearly had gotten the 'Top Scorer' award buuuuuut:

You see those two loses faced by Juve? Yeah we did that. And I am proud of that 

 

Also, he is coming bigger, badder, and stronger next season. Trust me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Champions League: 

I have mixed feelings about this one. We abolished most of the teams in Europe. Soooo, for the most part, it was only us. We beat Bayern, thrashed Benfica, and destroyed the Spurs all while away. We were destined to hold that beautiful cup at the end of the season, while the champions league theme song played in the midst. Unfortunately, it didn't really go as planned: we hit a dry spell right before our semi-final against PSG. Therefore, as expected, we lost. Bye-bye Champions League. Hopefully Europa next season shall be ours. This one really disappointed me actually.

Decent start mate. Romero needs a bit more consistency imo because you need a striker to score goals to be able to hit the target but hopefully this improves as he gets older. KIU

The very first season in the Italian league is one of the toughest ime. 

Brooks is a great addition btw. He's a top consistent CB in my career.

I mean at this rate Ill complete the challenge no doubt, however, I would have liked to finish it within the least amount of seasons as possible. So yes, hopefully he can improve on his consistency.

Oh I really do hope that's true. 

And yes, Brooks has done well for me in my other careers too. Anyways, let's see how the next season pans out.

Good first season, I find it a very tough and frustrating in Serie A. Juve are just so strong in the first few seasons, very consistent.

Good singing in Gerhardt, one of the best and most versatile midfielders in the game. World Class in my current save.

Good to get one objective out of the way early. I agree with @danovic78  gerhardt is a great signing. He was instrumental in a season I had at Wolfsburg and his stats are spread very well also. 

Keep it up mate. things will only get better.
