Help Player Morale

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Started a game recently and three seasons in I got a job with Leeds, lots of their players must have had an issue with the previous manager as seven of them were unhappy with managers treatment of an unknown player.

Two and a half years down the line and after winning the championship and premier league, these players (well the remaining 5 of them) are still unhappy.

Anyone else had this issue?

I've tried praising individuals but that doesnt work, nor winning league titles!

Hi @Matthew driver

I've had a few of those 'unhappy' ones as well and as you say it doesn't simply seem to vanish over time nor will winning prizes help. What did help me on some occasions (not all) is either handing them a new contract or playing them regularly / as starters even better.

That's all I know that might work for you.

I've had this problem, no matter the player interaction their morale always went down alerter talking to them. The only thing that I've seen that made a difference was hiring a motivational coach or being one yourself at the start of a save, even that isn't a fix-all. Must be a bug, I suppose.

Happy / unhappy and morale are two things at first.

The ways to keep / improve player morale are below:

1. Interaction with player

2. Increase motivation training level

3. Award a new contract to player

4. Play them often

The ways to make player from unhappy to happy,

1. Award a new contract.

2. Based on different reason of unhappy, to make player happy.
