Help Son In The Team

It's not just being 10 years at the club. For the duration of those 10 years you must have signed a player and that player has to play for you at least 10 years, playing a minimum of 1 official game per season, and retire at the club.

Example:

When you start the game you have João Teixeira. It's his first season at the club so it counts as arriving when you signed up. After 10 seasons João Teixeira retires and he has played every single season at least one official game (basically everything but friendlies) for FCP. He will have a farewell match and, as a reward, Pinto da Costa will allow your son (the one you never knew you had) to be promoted. If João didn't play a single game in one of his latest seasons, it won't work. If you try to do this with Danilo, which was with FCP last season, it won't work because he didn't join the club on your reign.

Coming from B team counts as a sign? Like Rui Pedro or Rui Pires?

Hi, in england poss others it will be called your reserves but in countrys like

spain, poss portugal (never managed in portugal) its called your second team.

if you promote a player from your reserves/second team and you have them

playing for ten years or more and play at least one cup /league match a

season until they retire you will get your son.

Cheers Sim

P.S. you don't get your son until that player retires.

In Portugal they can't be considered reserves because they play in the league below (hence operating like a different team). That's why I've asked if coming from FCP B counts as a sign

Ruben Neves won't work because he was already at the club when you start the 16/17 season.

I have Cancelo. Bought him on the 2017/2018 season. I'm on the 2026/2027 so one more season and done

You need to play him for at least one official match per season until he retires, even if he plays for more than 10 seasons.

I think this is enough, right? :D

P.S. He's a beast
