  1. Finished the season with Bayern this morning. 57 games played overall W:48 D:6 L:3 F:141 A:28 The tactic is: PCR INF INF DLM APM BWM WB BPD BPD WB GK Attacking Short Normal Pressing ON Offside trap ON I don't know if this is going to work with another teams, however in Bayern this tactic seemed to get the best out of Mandzukic. He also won World Player of the Year, with Messi runner-up. With commited tackling Javi Martinez was getting way too many yellow and red cards to be considered acceptable!
  2. I would like to share my tactics on FMH2014. I'm using Arsenal ( i'm a gooners ^_^ ) Arsenal had a lot of talented Attacking Midfield player, so i decided to go with this formation, and it works, but i need some advice because my tactics : 1. Closed down too easily by opposition. 2 Sometimes my lone striker was unable to find space. Here is My Tactics : Team Instructions : I think this formation needs a better Defensive Midfield to protect Defense area, then i go for Lars Bender as he is better than Arteta and Flamini at the stats. The others transfer is to replace Bendtner and Djourou with A. Mitrovic and F. Fazio. So far it works fine ... ^_^ Here is some of their results : But then unable to beat Celtics  : What's wrong ??
  3. theKraken - Sunny's 4-3-2-1 One of FMH2012's best iOS/Android tactics is back again this year, slightly tweaked (and still tweaking, hoping for perfection as last year) to suit the modified match engine on FMH2013. Whether you're a top team or a bottom-level, amateur team, this tactic will give you success! So, here we go: Team Instructions: For this year we have committed tackling instead of normal tackling as on normal, the tactic seems a bit leaky at the back. But be prepared for more cards, though I've only got 2 red cards across the whole season. Player Tactical Roles and Formation: Results(FMH2012): Oxford United, nPower League 2, First Season FC Augsburg, German First Division, First Season(Only players under 21 and 30 or above allowed) Real Madrid, Liga BBVA, First Season(Won the treble) Results(FMH2013): Southampton, English Premier Division, First Season The idea behind this tactic was first based on its formation. It's extremely narrow, and the midfielders are very close together. Such a compact formation would be good for playing possession-based football, as your players are ridiculously close to each other, and you can easily outnumber the opposition in the midfield, while keeping easy passing options open. Of course, as SI have tweaked the match engine a little for FMH13, it seems that it's not as overwhelming as it is in FMH12. Still, 60+% possession is not uncommon. Anyway, here are some basic stuff I would want with the players in this tactic: Goalkeeper: Your average goalkeeper. As you've only got 2 players defending the flanks, poor positioning from your wing-backs can mean leaks down the flanks, so your goalkeeper must be ready to win the ball in the air. Central Defenders: As of now, it seems that BPDs are a bit leaky this year, and so I've changed them to CTRs. As the offside trap is on, you'd want them to have good positioning and some decent teamwork as well. As mentioned before, the formation can be prone to crosses, so they must be strong in the air and still have decent pace to deal with leaks through the middle as well. I find Mats Hummels a good example. Wing-backs: Think Dani Alves. Good tackling, good crossing, good with the ball as well. He should have good positioning and teamwork(now I'm not exactly sure teamwork is a defensive attribute, but I find Roberto Carlos's regens pretty sturdy at the back even with poor teamwork) like the BPDs and have decent crossing and dribbling and passing as well. In the world of FMH, Lukasz Piszczek is a good example of what you should be looking for. Central Midfielders: They provide support to the team. Simple enough. Good passing, movement, tackling are needed, and if possible, he should have decent pace, stamina, shooting dribbling and technique as well. As they are the outermost MCs, some decent crossing would be nice as well. You could switch one of the CMs into a BBM if your team can support one/you have a good BBM, usually with better stamina and can last full matches easily. Yaya Touré and Ramires are excellent examples. Deep Lying Midfielder: Think Schweinsteiger. He wins balls, he distributes them to his teammates, and he might try the occasional long pass(despite short passing) and long shot as well. Tackling, positioning, pace, strength and decisions should be good. If you can, try to get someone similar to Guarín or Schweinsteiger. Advanced Playmakers: They are the creators of the team. They will act as second strikers as well, and they will move out wide to cross if needed. The heartbeat of the team, they should have good passing, dribbling, movement, creativity and some decent shooting, crossing, technique, pace and stamina. Lionel Messi, Mesut Özil and Kaká are excellent examples. Advanced Forward: The finisher of the team, he should have good movement, decisions, pace, strength, heading, dribbling, shooting and technique. Karim Benzema is a good example. If you can't get such an amazing striker, your average/most trusty striker will do. As I've mentioned in another thread(maybe here as well), this is a flexible tactic, and I modify it according to my needs. If I feel that I need more support in defense, I'll use a midfield combination of DLM-CM(or BBM)-DLM. If I have a good BBM that I don't want to waste, I'll switch a CM into a BBM. For the forward, I use whatever my striker's most comfortable with. I might try InFs instead of APMs as well if I feel my attacking midfielders have good enough finishing. So feel free to modify it according to your needs. Feedback is appreciated Don't forget to give me some rep if it's been solid for you Noticed that defense is a bit leaky on FMH13, if you've managed to get a combination that helps concede less feel free to leave a comment!
  4. I can't wait to play FMH 2015 and I was thinking of what tactic am I going to use with Chelsea , wait for one what will really be working, or try to set it up as it is in reality? Would it look like this? Would it work? --------------CmF--------------- inf -----------bbm--------------- ---------------------apm-----wng --------bwm---------------------- fbk-------ctr-------ctr--------wbk Team instructions : Attacking or Balanced, Mixed, Commited and Pressing on. of course its - Azpi, Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic - Matic, Fabre - Hazard, Oscar, Willian - Costa Azpilicueta is obvious full back, he rarely goes into attack, and if he goes, he positions himself more defensively, thats why FBk. JT and Cahill are obvious, Ivanovic is really attacking force this season, scoring 2 goals and assisting few I guess.....Do you think his attributes will change to more attacking? His crosses and dribbling are better than last seasons, and he also looks very pacey. Matic is very obvious BWM, although he has also been very creative in midfield, but I think BWM role covers this as well. Fabregas is playmaker, no doubts about it. Hazard should be an inside forward, he has been terrific this season imo I hope he won't leave for Real Madrid in few years... Willian is more of a winger, but he contributes defensively as well, thats why i pushed him into MR instead of AMR (don't know if that helps tbh ) I wondered about Oscar being a APM, or CM...but when I saw his game against Arsenal analysed, he showed his allround ability, helping defense as well, covering almost all parts of the field..therefore I suppose he is more of a BBM...here is the video (Oscar analysis is from 5:05) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5e3LbbwioE Diego Costa is I think more than a poacher, he drops to the left wing very often, and mixes strength of a target man with technical presence of Tqa, and goalscoring of a poacher, thats why I put him as CmF. What do you think?
  5. Prasant's 4-3-1-2 Intro I created this tactic for my "Double Trouble" career specifically for the purposes of maximizing the number of goals scored by the two strikers in the tactic. Since then, I have tested it out further and have been genuinely surprised at how well it has worked for me in other situations. Therefore, I have decided to post it here on Vibe for everyone to try out! Player Roles: Team Instructions: Team Mentality ~ Attacking Passing Style ~ Direct Tackling ~ Normal Pressing ~ Yes Offside Trap ~ Yes Men Behind Ball ~ No Counter Attack ~ No Tactic Mechanics: Wing Backs ~ The two Wing Backs provide much needed width to an otherwise narrow formation. They require solid Crossing, Dribbling and Stamina in addition to the usual defensive stats. Examples are Kyle Walker or Marcelo Centre Backs ~ The two Centre Backs are the anchors of the team. They are the ones who camp in their own half and prevent the opposition's attackers from scoring goals. They require solid Tackling, Positioning, Heading, Decisions and Strength. Examples are John Terry and Nemanja Vidic Ball Winning Midfielder ~ The Ball Winning Midfielder sits just in front of the back four and prevents the opposition from building an attack. He hassles and harries and in general, wins the back. He requires solid Tackling, Positioning, Decisions and Strength. Examples are Scotty Parker and Cheik Tiote Box-to-Box Midfielder ~ The Box-to-Box Midfielder does exactly what his name suggests. Contributing to both defense and attack, this dynamic player needs to have great all around stats as well as high Stamina. Examples are Ramires and Sami Khedira Advanced Playmaker ~ The Advanced Playmaker is the brains of the team. He creates the chances for the strikers and is the focal point of the team. Solid stats in Dribbling, Passing, Technique, Decisions & Creativity are a neccesity. Examples are Joao Moutinho and Toni Kroos Inside Forward ~ The Inside Forward is the player who can make a goal out of nothing. Cutting in from the wing, this player can often change matches by picking out a pass or unleashing a thunderbolt. Solid stats in Dribbling, Technique, Pace & Shooting are needed. Example are Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale Poacher ~ The Fox in the Box or the Poacher is the man who will get the brunt of the goals in your side. He is the player who is constantly looking for an opportunity to make that run and beat the defence. Solid Stats in Shooting, Pace, Movement and Decisions are necessary. Example are Javier Hernandez and Adam LeFondre Complete Forward ~ Perhaps the most important player in your team, the Complete Forward is the gel that holds your team's attack together. Capable of creating chances as well as taking them he can change games in a blink of an eye. Solid stats in Heading, Shooting, Pace, Strength, Movement & Decisions are a must. Examples are Edinson Cavani and Fernando Llorente Results I tested out the tactic in three different leagues. Here are the results: England - Tottenham Hotspur More Results Italy - Napoli More Results Holland - Ajax Clickey! ~ Refer to Seasons 9-11 If anyone cares to give it a go, I'd definitely love to hear how it goes! -MM96
