What did you have in mind? the most players you can have in any single "zone" (defence, defensive midfield, midfield, attacking midfield etc.) is five. Were you thinking four in defence and four in defensive midfield positions?

I'm still testing this tactic for a while:

3 CD as CTR (or you can move the central cd into sweeper if you have one)

1 DM as BWM

ML and MR (not AML/AMR) as WNG

2 MC as BBM

1 AM as APM

1 Striker as PCR

I used this for a while and worked a charm. I play with defensive wingers. Dont concede much but dont score much either. Prone to a couple of hammerings per year also but overall very good
