2014 [Update] FMH 2014 Save Editor 14.5.0.3.7

Update time!

 

Sorry for the delay, but here it is, this release fixes (hopefully) most of the reported bugs.

 

What is this?
It is a save editor for iOS/Android that gives you the ability to edit different things such as managers, players and clubs as well as see various hidden statistics in the game.

 

Important Information/Issues

Its important you read this section to stop people posting errors/bugs which are known.

- .NET 4.0 (Full) is required. This also means the minimum specification for .NET 4.0 Full is needed.

 

- Some Anti Virus Software may produce a false positive.

 

- Human Managers names need to be longer that 2 characters long

- Players Wages - While you can edit this currently doesn't make any changes in game. This is known and is currently being looked at.

- Players attributes. As it stands there is a hidden attribute mask which gives the 0-20 we see in game. In the save this isn't the case. There is a specific calculation which works this out. Changing attributes in the SE will change the numbers in game, I just don't know by how much. You will see some really weird numbers, but on tests changing these to realistic numbers (0-20) has enabled the game to make adjustments. Please see this as a warning.

 

Release Notes:

 

- Fixed issue where datetime error will appear if globalization wasn't set to UK.

- Fixed player cloning bug.

- Fixed players club drop down when deleting club.

- Import/Export data disable.

- Additional manager name checks,

- Fixed swap club bug.

- Fixed issue when try to edit a save that is Holland LargeDb only.

- Fixed rare issue when player doesn't have a surname (actual FMH 5.2 Bug).

- Fixed rare issue when players dislike person ID doesn't exist.

- Fixed bug where human managers name includes special characters.

- Fixed national pool bug.

 

The GUI hasn't changed since the FMH Vibe Exclusive Screen shots were revealed. For a taste check these out:

Basic Instructions:

 

- Install Save Editor

- If installed to root C (C:/) may need to run as admin

- Click the Orb (jaymarvels logo)

- Click Load Game

- Browse and Open Save File

Jay, I saw that bug with national pools has been repaired.

So my question: I changed both nationalities of player to the same country and change as well national pool. Changes are visible in editor. After saving save, on Android I still can't add edited player to representation - player rejected being added to national team.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

Just because you can call them up to the nation doesn't mean that they are going to accept?

No way to force them! I guess I could code in a way for this...

 

I've just edited a save and added a national pool, saved it and reloaded the save and the national pool stays as I selected..

I wish there was a way to change the name of your manager because it will not load my primary save, probably because I have a '+' in it. Works fine for my other save (which has a normal name, haha).

 

Would there be a way to fix this on my end?

The "+" does sound problematic, you could always send me your save and I will take a look..no way to change your name unfortunately.

Can u create a mac version i really want this

 

I created a poll not to long ago and there wasn't much interest...to make a mac version would take as long, if not a little longer to create.

Awww ok thats fine. I shall wait till next year. Anyway Jay is there anyway u can create this editor in a website. like instead of the application. we can just go to a website to do it. so this will be easier for everyone. but I'm not sure if its easier for u ;)  anyways thanks Jay

I could, I have considered but looking at it feel that a thick client is the best way.

The "+" does sound problematic, you could always send me your save and I will take a look..no way to change your name unfortunately.

Hello guys, Im using the editor as instruction... but on loading its giving me an error that manager name should be atleast 1 character long and my manager;'s name is about 17 characters long.. When I clicked ok its shows as cancelled on lower right loading bar.. Any ideas? 

 

PS : There is no + in the name.... there is a simple space between name and surname... and rest are usual english alphabets not any special signs

 

Edit : I started a fresh save with lesser characters... It loads up 75 pc shows the info to be right... but then this error pops up :

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

Hello guys, Im using the editor as instruction... but on loading its giving me an error that manager name should be atleast 1 character long and my manager;'s name is about 17 characters long.. When I clicked ok its shows as cancelled on lower right loading bar.. Any ideas? 

 

PS : There is no + in the name.... there is a simple space between name and surname... and rest are usual english alphabets not any special signs

5.3 update 3.

 

Well apologies, by mistake i downloaded the earlier version.

With the latest version i can use a new created save file with manager name Faiz surname Akh

 

but still the old save giving me first name minumum 1 letter error. Its manager name is Faizan and surname Akhtar

 

No special characters. The above one is a save played 2 seasons... As new saves are working with latest version then old one should also load :|

 

I didnt make changes to changes.txt or anything. Just a simple ManU save

Not necessarily...if you remember there were bug in 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 which SI fixed, these bugs could also effect the save file, and while FMH has a work around for older saves the SE won't necessarily be able to.

take a look

 

Looks like your manager name has some leading spaces.

 

This is what it is in the save:

 

" Faizan Akhtar"

 

This is what it should be:

 

"Faizan Akhtar"

 

The SE parses your manager name and uses it as a regex to match further down the line, it splits your manager name into first name and second name using the space between them as the delimiter.

 

In your case as you have a leading space it splits the name into too many portions, thus thinking your name is less than 2 characters long.

Oh. Silly me. Must have left a space by mistake.

got it...

SE is taking Faizan as surname because of the space and thts why showing atleast 1 character required

Started a new save btw

This time got sacked. Lol

Sorry Jay, i still have a bug when i swap club it still say unhandled exception has occurred.

 

Sure you have updated and doing it correctly?

 

Swapping clubs doesn't error for me anymore...

When openning my save with SE and save to another .dat file (even without any modification/change). The new .data file wont be opened by either FMH2014 nor SE. If opening it with SE, I see the followings:

 

Let me upload the original save "chshcq.dat" to your dbinbox, so you can test with it. BTW, I use IOS version in 5.3 update 3 and SE v14.5.0.3.7 (both latest)

chshcq.dat isn''t a valid save file name for FMH 2014 app, the SE may be able to read it, but the game won't.

- If you don't zip up the file, along with your forum name it will be deleted automatically

The save file you sent in the zip opens without any problems
