Forever the best team in Holland but no longer the best team in Europe

 

The aim of this challenge is to relive the glory days of Ajax and win the Champions Cup and all the subsequent trophies too, eventually claiming the Club World Championship

 

However...

There's a twist.

 

You can only sign Danish or Dutch players who are under the age of 21

Any bids made for any of your players must be accepted

and

You may make one foreign transfer per window maximum (loan players included)

 

Can you restore Ajax to their glory days?

Can you find another Cruyff?

A lot of Ajax's current squad, as well as recent exports (Christian Eriksen for example) are Danish, so it kind of felt right.

One player I absolutely adore in Ajax is Ezra Walian. A shame he isint in the game though

I myself am having a go at this and all these youngsters really are top quality. It's surprising how good the dutch league actually is.
