2014 Poor Keeper

Not Sure if I'm posting this in the proper area but can someone tell me why my keeper seems to ALWAYS concede lots of goals with stats that seem decent?

Maybe your defense and midfield players are weak and leave the goalkeeper vulnerable. Also it could be your tactic too.

I am using the tactic you're using on your Barcelona career & my defence is not the strongest but it's also not the weakest defence in the league?

Try using it with Balanced, and instead of wingbacks use fullbacks, one DLM in DM, APM and BWM in midfield others keeps the same, tell me how that goes.

I've been playing with a 4231 recently along with my Barcelona career and tried it and it worked better than the 41221.

I can see it in the stats there - poor communication will lead to conceding many through set pieces, and poor positioning just spells trouble for a 'keeper.

Ryan hasn't impressed me irl or on game, maybe some bad hidden stats as well?

I haven't tried Ryan post 5.3, but on an old save he had an average rating of 7.80 in the EPL one season.

 Match engine is terrible this year, expect keepers too concede way more the you are used too compared to FMH 2013 But in you case my best bet is whAt Lee said, communication is horrible

Goalies are tough, if you want someone OP then you're gonna have to be searching for all high stats except possibly aggression and creativity. And stamina to an extent.

I don't know about you guys, but I haven't had any defensive or goalkeeping problems this year.
