2015 The Goal Keeper Challenge

With all the focus mainly on the assist-providing midfielders and goal-scoring strikers how well do you know the defensive side of the game and the defensive-minded formations? Nullifying opponents' strengths can be a major asset too so this challenge is designed to put that other side of your managerial skill set to the test. How good of a manager do you think you are?

 

 

The Goal Keeper Challenge

 

This is a single season challenge.

You may play a 2nd, or 3rd season in order to better a

previous set score but every new season you start with 0 points.

 

How does my GK score points?

- Score a penalty = 1 point

- Keep a clean sheet = 2 points

- Man of the Match = 3 points

- Save a penalty = 5 points

- World Player of the Year = 10 points

 

Select any Goal Keeper and place him in your chosen squad from any top league,

post your results in a career for us to follow with screenshots as evidence and I (we)

will accumulate the scored points per season and you may get a spot on the leaderboard.

Thanks guys.

Was doing a couple test matches with defensive formations last night it's quite interesting going into a match with a completely different mindset. My usual aim to outscore the opponent is now replaced by an ultra defensive approach to 'score' a clean sheet.

 

It does bring new ideas to a tactic which can be refreshing.
