Wow I didn't realise anyone replied till now.

@Ashez I'm on Android but I'll check out the mobile imgur site as that is working well for you.

@Dec I actually tried to upload a pic directly to vibe just before my initial post, but I got a msg saying something like 'file size too large'. Just tried it again now and it seems to have uploaded. Let's see if it appears below :)

I've just replaced the app with a bookmark to the mobile site, works more or less the same way lol. 

Anyway good to see you have a solution :)
