The transfer glitch when involved in a trade can still happen (when the deal fails but the players contract says he's moving in an exchange), I had it happen this morning.

No chance in hell I'm going over there, I'd be banned within seconds. I've seen it reported before, on here but Alari was active in the thread.

The announcements are interesting but they all bring issues with them like:

What engines will be available and what features? Is the OE a reskin of 2014 again or actual an new game? Will the engine work and be fair on day one? The engine has been biased for years with SI created roles/tactics, how will it handle ours? How limiting will it be? Last two games have limited what works so everything is similar, will this new one be more creative? 

How much do coaches slow down the game? Having to set your coaches per match sounds good but also a massive ball ache. 

What will coaches be? How realistic will signing them be? Will they be just another form of PA = OP and popularity? 

How involved will coaches be? Could they leave and become a rival manager? 

How important will management style be? Is it easy to change/adapt? 

The loan feature isn't new, you did that on the last two games by the buy in the next window feature. 

The new zero budget feature sucks as teams can still sign players on a free, no realism at all. 

All those questions and many more need answering before we can begin to think how good or rubbish it is. However I'm not filled with faith after 2015 and the lack of leagues kills it.

Marc Vaughan has provided better clarification on Coaches.

 

Part of the description isn't particularly clear...

Part of the coaching system is that coaches have various badges which indicate their ability and they have a style of coaching which indicates their potential effect on a team:

The coaching styles available are:

General - All around coach, effective in developing all players but not specialised
Defensive - Defensive coach, effective in developing defensive players and also helping slightly with defensive organisation
Attacking - Effective in developing attacking players and also helping slightly with defensive movement
Motivational - Good at keeping players spirits up and encouraging them when times are hard, they can also sometimes improve the character of players (ie. make players less lazy or more professional).
Goalkeeping - Effective at developing keepers
Youth - Effective at developing young players
Fitness - Effective at improving players fitness and other physical attributes

Thus what it means by 'management styles' is that this allows a manager to effectively decide on the style of team he wants to develop - you could go for the Chelsea approach and buy in experienced players and not worry so much about youth coaching, you could be Arsenal and concentrate on attacking flair at the cost perhaps of your younger defensive players not improving as much as they might otherwise etc.

PS - You as a manager can also be a coach if you so desire, this is an unlockable which is available after you've unlocked a number of other achievements in the game.

So it's a renamed and yet more limited IT? Instead of the tier levels the coaches will be based on medals. Or can we have multiple coaches which just means this replaces IT? 

At least the unlockable and achievements sound interesting.

I think they work to improve training in a certain area so if you are an attacking team and have an attacking coach then your strikers and attacking attributes will grow faster. Bit like a steroid boost.

So it's nothing then lmao, if you can only have one it's unbalanced yet if you can have mutiple it's IT. Does IT still exist even? 

Sure it might help formations work but in theory IT should, that's what tactical training is for right? 

I can't help but smile, this is beyond words. Hopefully they are holding something back if not FMM will be 2015 with a new skin and some name changes with the possibility of an interesting engine which might work.

At least if the Coaches can only have gold/silver/bronze, then hopefully they will have a consistent CA/PA level (i.e. all gold is 160CA/PA) and we won't run into the issue of everyone using OP coaches. 

At the same time, it kind of sounds like IT is getting replaced? If that is the case I hope we can only have 1 or 2 coaches - that would mean there'll be trade-offs to training, making it a bit more interesting and giving individual teams more of an identity / makes each more unique. 

Like Ashez said, multiple coaches would be exactly like existing IT which has effectively been renamed...

Good point about the medals, that does make sense and as you said should balance it out somewhat. 

IT doesn't need changing and renaming it to coaches is selling it as something it isn't (if IT does indeed act like It sounds currently). IMO IT should be expended so we have more options than limiting it and renaming it. Say for example heading is a defensive attribute currently which means a TM is being wasted on defensive training or wasting a wingback on attacking just for crossing ability etc. 

I'll be watching this subject with interest but it's far from what I hoped and from what the name suggests, at no point did it cross my mind this could be renamed IT, I thought it was actually something exciting and NEW!

I welcome the addition of more tactical control  but am strongly against the whole coach idea. 

I want a pick up and play game where I can whizz through 10 games when I have a spare 25 minutes. The new features will slow things down a lot. It will be like earlier FM games where you need to change your training approach depending on the next opposition. If the odds are well in your favour then concentrate on attack that week, when you are the underdog you should spend time training defensively. 

Doesnt sound like a big deal but when you have 2 or even 3 matches in a week-10 days then it's going to become a chore pretty fast. 

Sure if you are Barcelona or Madrid then you can just leave it on attacking. 

It's  a gimmick and not needed. Those that wanted more control in this area are probably full fat FM fans who really want the ability to play the full game on their mobile. I personally dislike FM but love FMH as it has just the right amount of depth for what I want on a mobile device.

I really wanted the loan with option to buy , now it's seems that it isn't in the game , there should also with a stall transfer option that is also probably missing. These are basic features really, you expect them in your game by now.

A stall option would be a very basic thing to add and it would be very useful. 

Not that excited about loan back option tbh since it sorta exists already if you set the transfer date to end of season.

Coaches do not replace the old training, they just enhance how much it works on certain players. So IT will still exist but if you have an attacking coach then these players will grow a little bit more.

I wanted a training revamp tbh, the old feature has turned into habit and the ability to give players more detailed and specific  schedules would add a lot of depth while not taking up too much time as you'd likely only tweak it after first setting it. I guess I'll have to wait until 2017 where SI might introduce a personal trainer........

We really need a save for this from before the transfer as we haven't been able to reproduce on recent code here since February.

Sound, I'll try and make it happen again now. 

Did the same transfer but it didn't happen this time, it seems to happen when you are involved in a number of swap deals. I'll keep my eye on it and if I spot it I'll get it to you, trying to catch it before it happens will be difficult though, not enough save slots :P. It did happen to me yesterday morning though, I didn't keep the save as it was a key signing I wanted while running some tests. I dunno if I'll touch 2015 again but I'll keep it in mind.
