So with FMH15 nearly at an end I thought I would try to go out in style with one last epic challenge. I was looking for a longer one to take me up to FMM16 and one that I hadn't tried before. I was inspired by Ashez' latest career, hope he doesn't mind and decided to take on the...

 Triple Threat Challenge...

This would be a big step for me as I have only ever used my one striker tactic for the past few years and this season only found a two striker tactic that works well so having three strikers up top was going to take some careful planning.

So I knew I wanted to keep all three strikers the same nationality in order to count international goals so I decided to go with Brazil as I knew that had a good stock of younger strikers that would turn into world beaters. The club was harder, I wanted to try and have at least one of the strikers already at the club but also have a good enough squad for my chosen style of play. I found the perfect club...

Club Atlético de Madrid

The Chosen Players...

1. Léo Baptistão - Used a few times, has all the right attributes to lead my line and already at the club. Cost -

2. Geuvânio - Again used a few times as a squad player but now will need to step up. Cost £4.6m plus Angel Correa

3. Thallas - The hot young prospect,I hope he can hit the ground running. Cost £9.5m

Season One - Club Atlético de Madrid

Here we go...

Transfers

Apart from my other strikers, I needed to boost the midfield and Lens was bought in to cover up front.

Spanish Super Cup

Goals from Geuvânio in both legs ensures our first trophy on away goals.

Spanish Cup

We are edged out by Villarreal in the Quarter Final.

Champions League

We go all the way and should have won comfortably against Arsenal, conceding two late goals but we hold our nerve in the shoot out.

Seasonal Awards

Léo Baptistão takes his first Ballon D'or.

Baptistão claims a player double as he wins the Spanish Player of the Year Award with Geuvânio second.

Thallas claims the Spanish Young Player of the Year Award.

Ancelotti beats me to the Liga BBVA Manager of the Year Award.

Manager Stats

A good start to claim two cups but need to improve in the league next season.

Triple Threat Players

Léo Baptistão - Lead the line well with a reasonable 39 goals.

Geuvânio - Backed up well just behind Baptistão with 37 goals.

Thallas - The youngster did well and nearly hit 30 goals.

So a total of 104 was a good start, not spectacular but would hope to improve in the seasons to come

Season Two - Club Atlético de Madrid

Transfers

Just couple of new faces to boost the defence and midfield.

European Super Cup

All my lads score to help us thrash Inter.

Club World Championship

We somehow lose to Cruzeiro on pens after dominating the match!

Spanish Cup

We win our first Spanish Cup with a comfortable win over Athletic.

Champions League

My keeper has a meltdown in the second leg, couldn't catch a cold as we tumble out to Napoli in the First Round

Liga BBVA

Much better season as we clinch our first league title

Seasonal Awards

Léo Baptistão picks up his second Ballon D'or in a row.

Baptistão claims another player double as he wins the Spanish Player of the Year Award with Thallas second.

I beat Ancelotti this time to the Liga BBVA Manager of the Year Award.

Team Stats

A lower tally was not what we needed but we had a few injuries and Mandzukic took too many goals for my liking.

Triple Threat Players

Léo Baptistão - Slighty down in goals was not what we needed.

Geuvânio - Also down on goals too, can't afford to drop too far behind.

Thallas - He improves his tally to over 30 goals.

A drop of 14 goals is not what we needed and we have to keep getting over 100 every season so I need to find that right combination of player roles quickly. Although both Baptistão and Thallas earned calls up to Brazil and have started scoring.

Seems to be going well, it would be good to get a little more out of them though. 

I'm also a big fan of the graphic, however it seems to be lacking a total, while I'm a fan of mental maths I'd rather a running total

Thanks Ash, I know. I think I just need to stick with a combination of player roles as I have been playing around to get the most out of them. Graphic updated with total now.

Spanish Super Cup

We come from a first leg defeat to lift the cup AET.

Spanish Cup

Valencia get the better of us in the semi final.

Champions League

Dortmund are too good over two legs in the Semi Final also.

Liga BBVA

A good league campaign but Real are just too good this season.

Seasonal Awards

Three in a row now for Léo Baptistão as he wins the Ballon D'or.

Baptistão claims his third player double as he wins the Spanish Player of the Year Award with Geuvânio second.

Thallas once again picks up the Spanish Young Player of the Year Award.

My battle with Ancelotti continues as he wins the Liga BBVA Manager of the Year Award.

Just the Super Cup this season in a poor season trophy wise.

Triple Threat Players

Léo Baptistão - Record high of 44 goals was just what we needed this season.

Geuvânio - Back up to 30 but need more from him.

Thallas - An inury hit season meant just 20 goals! Argh! 

So we improved slightly on last season but 94 was still down of my target of 110-120 a season. Those international goals are going to be key.

Just one in and out. Griezmann performed well off the bench but wanted out.

Another title after a solid league campaign to complete the domestic treble.

Four in a row now for Léo Baptistão as he wins the Ballon D'or.

Saul claims the Spanish Young Player of the Year Award with Gimenez second.

Front three improved on last season but not enough. Pogba was outstanding in midfield.

Geuvânio - First big injury for my front three 

His injury affected his season and goals are right down to 19!

Thallas - Much better from him as he improves to over 35 goals.

Again a slight improvment to 99 goals but low against target.We have to pick up in the next five seasons or this challenge will be impossible.

I know, Billy. It was the only long term one I have had so far and it happened at the start of the season so could be worse. Still about 70 goals shy of where I think I need to be though...

You play and post so fast! Going well but the goals could be higher. However I feel it's still in reach, if you break 500 next season the strikers still have ten years in them at 100 goals a season. With improvement and ITN I think it's possible, keep it up :D.

Ha,Ha...I travel and commutate a bit so have the time to play!

I agree, we need to be consistently over 100 goals and hope the ITN come rolling in...

Not Real again? Our first leg meltdown costs us as we go out in the Semi Final.

Our Midfield was boosted with the arrival of Højbjerg and Yaya Toure's evogen.

Despite a Baptistão hat-trick we throw away a first leg lead to lose on away goals to Real.

Real put us to the sword in the final.

Champions League

Lewandowski rub salts in the wounds as his brace lifts the cup for Bayern in the final.

Liga BBVA

The title is retained no problem.

Seasonal Awards

Thallas just misses out on a second Ballon D'or to Lewandowski.

Thallas takes the Spanish Player of the Year Award again with Baptistão second.

Ancelotti beats me this time to lift the Liga BBVA Manager of the Year Award.

Just the league in a poor season overall.

Triple Threat Players

Léo Baptistão - Again below 40 is not really good enough from my main Poacher..

Geuvânio - Another big injury blow for him

An Injury hit season effected his goal tally.

Thallas - A slight drop of goals just when I thought he was kicking on.

A drop to 99 goals what effected by losing Geuvânio for 5 months. With the international goals we are still averaging 105 goals per season but we need to up it.

A crushing defeat of Mirandes thanks to a brace from Baptistão.

EURO Cup

After a terrible group, We dropped into the EURO Cup and went all the way to lift the trophy.

Liga BBVA

Another easy league campaign to lift another title.

Seasonal Awards

Baptistão claims another Ballon D'or with Thallas second.

A double for Baptistão as he takes the Spanish Player of the Year Award again with Thallas second again.

My turn to beat Ancelotti beats to lift the Liga BBVA Manager of the Year Award.

A league and a couple of cups to put in the trophy cabinet.

Back into the 100's for my front three.

Triple Threat Players

Léo Baptistão - A record high 47 goals just when we needed it.

Geuvânio - Another sub 30 season! Argh!

Thallas - Not a bad season for him.

An increase to over 110 goals was what we needed. Still ticking along ok but 10-20 more a season would really help us.
