Tactics Center Backs: Aerial ability needed or not?

Do you guys have 2 CB's with Aerial at least 15 starting for your team? I find it odd how guys like Sokratis, Thiago Silva, Toprak etc have Aerial under 15.

I'd say it depends from experience looking at stats I've noted that not all CBs with 15+ win the aerial challenge sometimes even someone with 8 wins more aerial battle than someone with 15... I sold one of my CBs for that reason

Depends on your tactics I expect, but I've found all the 3 central defender roles need aerial ability to be consistently decent. (Never tried a sweeper though.)
