I believe when its released there will be different screenshots 'in store' for each of the main device resolutions supported .. unfortunately for PR purposes there are only a restricted number of screenshots released or people would have to wade through dozens of very similar images.

Looks great, coaches were a poor first step in the direction of having a full set of backroom staff, but this looks to be a great addition. From what I can see on the new scout report screen the pros and cons of a player are much clearer, good considering weve all been asking for improved staff feedback (and feedback in general). Hopefully this isn't a case of one and done though, and there's atleast a couple more significant new features to be unveiled before release.

Totally agree Dean. Football Manager is for control freaks...what next, improved assistant manager features that run the game for you whilst you go to work, sleep, eat etc....

Part of the quick fix fun that FMM offers is a lite-touch version of the main FM game. This takes away some of that. 

We know we're not gonna get a 3D match engine. Playing the Polish and Turkish league is about as exciting as watching chess. I'd trade losing most of the foreign leagues for a bit more realism on the media, commentary, tactics, training and financial front...

I know they're picky on what they can and want to show but I think things like this should be, if they are in the game that is. Not being able to search was a massive issue with 2016 so if that is indeed improved it could have been slipped out here in a screenie and eased a lot of fan concern on how the feature actually works etc.

Going through screens of clubs in lower division clubs on the hunt for gold/natural coaches was such a pain.

Couldn't agree more, I had a save in Portugal I think and I wanted just an attacking coach, I didn't really care about the badge. I went through every team one by one and found none I could get, that's just infuriating lol. Details could be wrong but that story happened :@. 

All we can do is hope 2017 brings a solution with it I guess.

I had the same thing in Portugal looking for a defensive coach. Not a single one in either division. 

Coach search function is a necessity!

Yeah it was a joke tbh, that issue really needs to be addressed. I never bothered with them again after that save. Some of the roles did seem rather rare on 2016 so I hope that's looked at too :)

Did anyone ever find a fitness coach during the game? I only ever came across one. What's the point in having that role in game if you include next to no fitness coaches?

I always set myself as one for that reason.

Positive: Love the idea that I might be able to gauge hidden attributes. 

Negative:

- How can I trust what a scout says unless his attributes are high? This usually means I would not use/trust them in a lower league situation. If his judging ability potential is 10 - is that a coin flip to see if he gets it right? This is probably too simplistic, I know,  but what are the mechanics? Also, scouts (and the board) have traditionally made assessments based predominantly on a player's reputation. I hope the back end has been improved in this respect. 

- Manager of managers/ staff is a step too far away from the action IMO, and it could distract from the essence of the game (tactics, transfers, team selection, playing games). I'll reserve judgement for now, though, and see how things work out.
