Chat icloud saves across devices

Now we have the option to Save our game to the icloud this gives us the capability to play it across different devices.

One question i have is what if you are playing on different game engines , would it still work ?

I mainly play the game on my iphone6 plus which runs EME , but also have an old ipad at home which runs OME . I generally play a different save on each device but with icloud I can access the same save from either device , i haven't tried it yet but can i play the same save even though the machines are running different game engine's ?

The match engine is linked to the save, so a save started with the EME will use the EME on all devices.

Thanks , so I would have to use OME on both devices as there's no way my old ipad can run EME , or just play different saves like i did in the past.
