FEATURED MATCH....

WEST HAM UNITED .VS. MANCHESTER CITY
BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE

West Ham United hosted Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side in the Barclays Premier League. City are sitting at the top of the table a point clear of Antonio Conte's Chelsea.

The Hammers made a great start when captain Mark Noble scored in the 13th minute giving his side the lead. Unfortunately for West Ham, Sergio Aguero was having a good day and scored a quick-fire double early in the second half. City withheld a barrage of attacks from West Ham to earn all 3 points.

BIRMINGHAM CITY .VS. WEST HAM UNITED
EMIRATES FA CUP - THIRD ROUND

Birmingham City welcome Harry Redknapp's West Ham United to St Andrew's in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup. Birmingham are currently struggling in the Sky Bet Championship and sit in 21st.

Birmingham started well and took the lead through Tom Hopper's well worked goal, however there work was undone on the 34th minute with a brilliant goal from Simone Zaza. Zaza then continued his fine form with a calm penalty finish on the 67th minute and a beautiful volley on the 82nd minute. Zaza has now scored two hat-tricks in quick succession for The Hammers.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR .VS. WEST HAM UNITED
EFL CUP - SEMI FINAL (FIRST LEG)

Tottenham Hotspur welcomed West Ham United to White Hart Lane for the Semi Final - First Leg of the EFL Cup. Pochettino has already stated that he "feels the pressure to get silverware this season".

Spurs opened the scoring with a stunning free kick from Ben Davies. The game livened up in the second half win both teams attacking with brute force. Michail Antonio's bursting run eventually presented the opportunity for him to slot passed the experienced Hugo Lloris. The game was won by a single piece of magic from Spurs, Harry Kane. Kane controlled the ball under no pressure, rotated 180 degrees and fired the ball into Adrian's far right.

The second leg at the London Stadium is going to be a tremendous occasion...

FEATURED MATCH....

WEST HAM UNITED .VS. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
EFL CUP - SEMI FINAL (SECOND LEG)

The London Stadium was a spectacle for todays Semi-Final Second Leg between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs lead 2-1 on aggregate going into the match, can the Hammers turn the match in their favour?

Spurs again proved too strong for West Ham, despite the Hammers having the lions share of shots. Pochettino's side were too quick on the counter attack catching West Ham out twice in the first half. Moussa Sissoko scored a header at the best post after a wonderful cross by Dele Alli. England striker Harry Kane found space in front of West Ham's back four to fire the ball into Adrian's bottom left.

"Tottenham Hotspur will play North London rivals Arsenal in the EFL Cup Final. Despite Arsenal's dreadful Premier League start, they now sit in 9th, 10 points behind Spurs. Pochettino is desperate to win Tottenham's first trophy since winning the League Cup back in 2008. However Arsene Wenger wants to give Arsenal fans the trophy as it looks like he nears the exit this summer". Hayley McQueen - Sky Sports News.

WEST HAM UNITED .VS. MIDDLESBROUGH
EMIRATES FA CUP - FOURTH ROUND

West Ham welcomed Aitor Karanka's Middlesbrough side to the London Stadium in the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup. Both sides were desperate to progress in this seasons tournament, with each manager fielding strong sides.

The Hammers were off to a flyer in the 8th minute with in form Simone Zaza scoring a wonderful goal, being assisted by Pedro Obiang. The match was quite even throughout but Boro could not penetrate West Ham's defence resulting in a frustrating afternoon for the North Yorkshire side.

AFC ASTRA .VS. WEST HAM UNITED
EUROPA LEAGE FIRST KNOCKOUT ROUND (1ST LEG)

West Ham travelled to Romania in the First Knockout Round of the Europa League. Their opponents were AFC Astra, who the Hammers have had previous challenges against.

The Hammers slightly disappointing in this game. Coming up abasing the brick wall of AFC Astra's defence seemed too tricky on the night. West Ham's midfielder Pedro Obiang was also given a straight red card after lunging in on AFC Astra's number 14.

WEST HAM UNITED .VS. CHELSEA
EMIRATES FA CUP - FIFTH ROUND

West Ham welcomed Antonio Conte's Chelsea side to the London Stadium in the Fifth Round of the Emirates FA Cup. West Ham have seemed to struggle against Chelsea of late, could today be the turn around?

The Hammers started off very well attacking the Chelsea goal, with Jonathan Calleri stroking the ball home from a Michail Antonio through ball. West Ham were the dominant side throughout this match but did not put away their changes. Ultimately, Chelsea's second shot of the game, their only shot on target, found the back off the net. The tie will now be decided at Stamford Bridge.

WEST HAM UNITED .VS. AFC ASTRA
EUROPA LEAGUE FIRST KNOCKOUT ROUND (2ND LEG)

West Ham welcomed AFC Astra to the London Stadium in the second leg of the First Knockout Round. Redknapp is desperate for West Ham to progress to the next round of the FA Cup and starts Andy Carroll in a 4-4-2 formation today.

The Hammers were the more dominant side as AFC Astra looked to sit back most of the match. West Ham took the lead through Angelo Ogbonna in the 11th minute when he headed home from a corner. The second goal of the game came from Sofiane Feghouli after a neat one-two with Tom Huddlestone saw him in behind, he calmly finished.
