Help Retraining Positions

Did any of you have had any success retraining a position with a player

Yes I've retrained 4 players.

They still learn to play in the position even when your assistant tells you to stop the training

one of my players went 27 months learning without any change

I've only tried twice and it's been successful both times. In fact, the first time, the player himself suggested it so that he could prolong his career by dropping deeper.

I only retrain players that have reasonable or above and they always seem to be able to retrain

I know mate, me too. It was Mikel Rico of Bilbao, he requested to be trained in a DM role. I've never seen it since.

In last year's game Giroud asked me to retrain him as a defender

Yes he was over 30 and he said it would help him improve his strength. Basically he wasn't ready to retire

I had Alexis Sanchez request to be retrained as a RM to prolong his career, only to discover that he hated being retrained and refused to undertake training.

most of my players either refuse to retrain or are unhappy with it

Had that happen in my 1KC career. Was a forward player 30/31yo and suggested to be retrained to a midfield position to prolong his career. Maybe he found out I was going to sell him at the end of the season which I did.

@Phoenixf nobody is going to help you with that. Buy the game and support the developers instead of pirating their work.
