Personally I prefer Goalkeeper. For some reason, I find Sweeper Keeper makes too many errors even when my Goalkeeper prefers to be a Sweeper Keeper.

His decisions need to be high for a sweeper keeper but if you have a great defence why bother

If you choose Sweeper Keeper he has to be a Pacey one, if you look at most SK they tend to have "slow off the goal line" which isn't a good attribute for a SK as he will get beat every time with a Pacey striker like Vardy, Rashford or Aguero etc

So picking a SK isn't the best choice if you care about the goals you concede, where a GK tends to hold his line and hope the defenders do all the work.

Oh I see. So a Sweeper Keeper is a bit more offensive than a Goalkeeper, and if lacking in Decisions or Pace might be more prone to conceding goals. However, if the defence is lacking, the Sweeper Keeper kind of covers for it.

With that said, do the pro's outweigh the con's? By definition, the Sweeper Keeper is capable of initiating counter-attacking moves; has anyone seen much of this happening?
