What was I meant to do with this mess! I was under the impression the AI had improved with regards to squad building and the like but this is a completely mess! In the previous match I had to start an injured player, replace him with an injured player and it was just a mess. I hope this doesn't turn into a trend as Birmingham wasn't much better.

That really does suck, it might be best picking up a small club in the summer and building their squad but you'll still be screwed when the fa cup run starts...

But as you said what the hell are you suppose to do with a whole squad full of injured players, seems to be an issue as all my BG challenges had teams like this when i was looking to move, I mean come on what are the chances of 90% of your team being injured or unfit it's a joke

Yeah, I could have done things differently I suppose but each option seems to have hurdles lol. My approach of just getting to the second half of the season and hoping for a lucky run is the best I can come up with ATM lol.

So far I've not really checked out squads before accepting as I've basically been judging it on league position/chance of success. As I've been so fussy of late I decided to just try and get some matches played but I'll have to become fussy again I think as these updates aren't fun to play or entertaining for you guys.

This is turning into a proper rogue-like. The first dozen games you survive a random length of time, then by the 20s you think you know what's happening and get a bit blase and get murdered quickly repeatedly. Soon you'll hit the phase when you actually know what you're doing and you'll be flying! 

(Not saying you don't know what you're doing btw! Just drawing parallels from my time playing ADOM)

We've had to drop down to the lowest division but we at last have a title stealing opportunity!

Eleven games left to play! Is this finally our season? So far on this save we've reached an eleven match undefeated streak six times out of twenty-four attempts! The pressure is on!

I'm so nervous! The reason for the delay in this update was I couldn't face playing the save! I knew this was a massive chance yet there is so much left to play for!

Just one match at a time, oh how I hope the FMM Gods are on my side!

We got so lucky here as it had the feeling of a match I wasn't going to survive but a late penalty saw the streak continue! This is a massive result!

I wasn't sure if I should end the save at this point or if I should finish the season. After some thought I decided screw it so let's see how my career ends. Will I go out with my head held high or will I retire in defeat?

I'm extremely happy with these results as considering everything having a win percentage of 78 is pretty awesome IMO. 

Trophy Cabinet

Having that league title to my name feels awesome! I don't think a simple league title has ever meant so much to me! By no means a massive career but I'm delighted with what I achieved. Four promotions and one league title in seven years isn't ideal but I feel like I did well :p. 

Conclusion 

Is it obvious I just played this section? I wanted to update instantly while all the emotions were fresh, I'm currently smiling ear to ear! As with any save the end is always bitter sweet but I've massively enjoyed this career and I'm so happy so many of you shared this journey with me. This thread has been viewed between 5000-5500 times depending on which view counter you believe which honestly blows my mind, this is one of the biggest gimmick saves I've ever done but you all supported me and this is all the more special. Like I've said plenty of times I didn't expect this to work in game or on Vibe but it somehow found it's place and it'll be a save I don't forget in a hurry. I'm humbled, honestly humbled and all I can do is thank you all! 

What's Next From Me? 

I can't help but feel I owe you all for the support you've given me so I'm currently working away trying my best to discover that one massive idea you'll all love. Unfortunately so far not much has worked out but I'm determined to bring something new to the community, it just might take me a little while! However that doesn't mean I have nothing to post as I'll soon be back to updating my Caretaker career, I know I've said that a few times and not followed through with it but now this is out the way I want to finish everything off so I can bring new ideas to the table. The issue with that save is the updating style I went for takes bloody ages so it's easy to put off, with that in mind I'm going to simplify the updates just to help me get the content out there for you guys to enjoy.
