  1. Hello Vibers! I think that it is about time for me to make an opening post to my new career. I little while ago I was enjoying my attempt at the Atlético Madrid challenge. I managed to complete 11 seasons before Mauro Icardi's body broke down, and my challenge with it. Since then I've kept playing the save (still do sometimes) to get a good score for Julian Draxler in the assist challenge. It didn't take long before I found that playing the save just for the assist challenge wasn't all that fun. It just wasn't as captivating for me as the game has been lately, I needed something more. I needed goals, lots of goals, at least one thousand of them! So you see where this is going, it's back to the 1kc for me. I just love the goal challenges, nothing beats that feeling when your team scores a goal, and for a couple of milliseconds you wonder who did it, and then you see it: He did it again. That rewarding feeling when your striker scores yet another goal, only to be replaced by frustration when the next one is disallowed just because that left winger strayed offside. The 1kc is a journey, riddled with highs and lows, that hopefully will end with a great feeling of satisfaction. In this career I will do something I've never done on fmh before, I will let the 1kc take me to clubs in different nations. I have had some careers where I have switched clubs, but never managed in different countries. For this save I have 4 European nations loaded, and I would love it if I would be able to manage clubs in all of them with my star striker by my side. The player I've chosen is not much more than a boy at the start of the game, hopefully I will be getting close to 20 seasons with him. With this amount of time reaching 1000 goals may not be the most difficult challenge, but it makes for an interesting adventure. Another clue to his identity is that he has dual nationalities, one of which is manageable in the game. Does anyone care to venture a guess who he is?
  2. Devil's guide to starting challenges So for my first guide in a while, I thought of a guide on how to start off some of the most popular challenges on Vibe! There will be 1 part for each challenge I do. Number 1: The 1000 goal challenge In this challenge, the aim is to score one thousand goals with one player in the least amount of seasons possible. In order to do so you will need: A striker: The three best tactical roles for a striker in this challenge in my opinion are Poacher, Advanced Forward and the less used Target Man. The two best ways to find a suitable player are: Finding the perfect contender: 1) Search for strikers in your price range and just look on their profile for their tactical role. 2) Search for the required attributes for each role and choose a player that way. Poacher: Advanced Forward Target Man Remember in the search to include the ideal age (0-21 although up to 22 is still ok), position and price. The attributes in the above images are to find decent players and quite a few of them in the search but you can always change them to suit yourself. Remember also that players evolve with time so you might find a poacher that after a few seasons will become a target man. A tactic: Obviously like in any challenge you will need a tactic. The average 1kc tactic will have the chosen striker alone up front, normally at least one winger and most of the time a normal 4 man defence. I normally use something that resembles this: Tactical roles: For tactical roles, I talked about the striker earlier. For the winger(s), an Inside Forward often takes goals or chances and misses them, so he isn't ideal. But the two best imo are APM and Winger. An APM often focuses on making himself available to pick up his teams passes and then give it to someone else. The winger, when he has he ball of course, tries the bug the touchline and beat his man with his pace. Then often crossing into the box to try and create a chance. For the more central players, most of the time I just look at my squad then see who are my best midfielders and build the central midfield around them. Finally the defenders it's pretty much the same thing. See who are your best players and give them their preferred or best role. Although with some tactics a BPD and a Winger are decently effective. Team instructions: Next, the team instructions. I often like them like this: Although most of the time the team instructions just need messing around with and testing, I just like the attacking mentality that I have found goes pretty well with the pressing turned on. Finally, when you're preparing your tactic, make sure to put your chosen striker as the penalty and free kick taker because this will often give you 5+ extra goals a season. The club: Where to go? Obviously some leagues are easier to score in than others. The top three easiest nations to score in are: 1) Brasil. Brasil is very easy to score in (especially in the SP) but the seasons are quite a lot longer than in other countries. 2) Portgual. Seasons are an average length but it's harder to score in. 3) Holland. Again seasons are a normal length it's just harder (the hardest of these three) to score in. Club finance: At a club you will either need a good starting budget or a good budget that's achievable by either selling the deadwood on the team or the team's star striker seeing as either way he will virtually never play. Extra help: This is completely optional, but sometimes if you have enough money to spend you can also go looking for players who can get your striker a fair amount of goals. The better stats for this are (Imo) crossing, passing, teamwork although there are others that could also have an impact. Notes: This is only part one, there will hopefully be others up roughly once a week. Credit to Dec for his helpful guide on "Key attributes for each player role". Finally, I'd appreciate it if along with whatever you have to say in your comment, you just say a quick word on the presentation and if it looks okay and what I should improve.
  3. THE PLAYER Robert 'The Body' LeWANdowski. WHY? The best Polish striker in the world since forever, enough said. THE CLUB Les Rouge-et-Bleu. WHY? I've used PSG before in my doubletrouble career and is familiar with the club. And lets face it, i would not be able to afford LeWAN at a club like Porto or Ajax. THE AIMS PER SEASON Aims? What aims? Just score and score and score! Lets keep the intro short and look forward to some great content. Adios amigos. Keep those comments coming.
